Playing Greyhound Tycoon will put your into challenge of training a dog to achieve the title of being the Greatest Trainer in the world. You will be taking care of your pet by monitoring its Status where it is your responsibility to keep all conditions at the top level. Proper training and caring is the key on your success on completing all challenges of the game.



Before playing the game, you need to select the type of dog that you wish to train. There are 5 of them on the selection and they have different statistics in terms of Endurance, Speed, Mood and Health. If you don’t have any idea on whom to choose then you can randomly select anyone from them. Anyway, choosing your dog on the list does not make any difference since they have all the potential to be trained.



The game will begin on Day 1 and you are given a total Energy of 8 hours period. There are several activities that you can perform each day but the most important part that you need to do is to train your dog and work at the same time. There are three different places that you can work and paid for your effort which are the Advertising Agency. The Petting Zoo is the right place for you to work if you are currently at the lowest division. As you pet acquire Fame and Reputations, you can now work at the Advertising Agency and Studs for better income.



Training your Dog everyday should be your primary objective because it increases its capability to win the competitions. You have the choice to do the manual training yourself or you may simply hire a Trainer. Hiring a Trainer will charge you to pay the Service Fee that will be included on your weekly bills.



Your Dog’s Speed and Endurance are increased through constant training at the Race Track but it can be further developed by having a trip into the wonderful places offered by the Travel Agency. It will cost you huge amount of money for buying the ticket but it will greatly benefit the Skill and Condition of your pet.



Each week, two Racing Competitions are conducted every Wednesday and Sunday. You have the option to skip the race but it will lower the Fame of your Dog. It is suggested that you should try to accept the challenge whether you are going to win or loss.



You are only going to lose on this game if you are unable to pay your bills twice. This can be avoided by working during the days where no races are to be held. Borrowing cash at the Loan Shark is not recommended unless when you are able to pay it on time.



Finishing the game will take time as you have to train your pet and take part on the Racing Competitions on all divisions. If you manage to overcome all levels then you will be awarded with Gold Trophy as the top Dog Trainer on this game.
